A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Kate - a Career Confidence Coach

I’m a career confidence coach, supporting individuals and organisations to build confidence, clarity and courage at work.
If my story sounds anything like yours, then we should absolutely have a chat to explore how I can help.

I was once stuck in a job that no longer motivated me, yet I was terrified to leave because I couldn’t see a way out. I felt trapped, unsure of my value and deeply worried that I wasn’t good enough.

Originally, I trained as a performer and spent time acting and performing comedy across London — an experience that grounded me in confidence, presence and impact.
Today, I bring those performance and improvisation skills into my coaching to help clients build confidence and make their impact felt at work.

I later moved into the events industry, where I helped grow a small business into a highly successful and profitable organisation. Yet despite this success, I eventually found myself lost, lacking confidence and questioning what I was truly capable of. For several years, I lived with constant Sunday night dread and a persistent sense of imposter syndrome.

Discovering coaching changed everything. As I retrained to become a coach, I realised my purpose was to help others make meaningful changes in their careers — without going through the fear, anxiety and self-doubt I experienced. I now help clients build career confidence, clarity and motivation, so they can enjoy work and life equally.

I infuse my coaching and training with acting, comedy and mindset tools to help clients build confidence from the inside out — strengthening self-esteem, self-belief and resilience.

Whether you’re considering a career change, rebuilding confidence, or craving a healthier life–work balance (life always comes first), I support clients to create careers they genuinely enjoy and feel proud of.

Alongside individual coaching, I also work with organisations to support employee confidence, development and wellbeing through talks, workshops and tailored workplace programmes — helping teams feel motivated, supported and ready to thrive.

A Few (Fun?!) Facts About Me

  1. I lived in Nepal when I was 18 – yes it was epic!

  2. I regularly perform improvised comedy (think Who’s Line Is It Anyway?)

  3. I’ve ridden bikes, horses, a camel and an elephant.

  4. The only one I have not fallen off of was the camel.

  5. I only learnt to drive in the last few years.

  6. I don’t have a middle name (is that weird? lots of friends think it is – let me know!)

I invested in a coaching programme for myself to support my role change and transition. I found our fortnightly sessions well structured, productive and most importantly for me I saw the impact of the actions I took away from the sessions. I would highly recommend Kate to anyone looking for a coach to support them through a change or challenge at work or in their personal life.
